Lady Bug's Story

I'm a ~2 year old mystery mix who has been patiently waiting for a home since May of 2025. Since my stay at ODR, the staff has gotten to know me and my quirks. Here are a few: I like to curl up like a donut on the tiniest of chairs. I love to roll on grass, sand, or anything that I can get dirty in! I get major zoomies playing with toys (I really love stuffies and rope toys). I also think cats count as chew toys so would definitely do best without kitties or small creatures in the home. I like to chew on anything I can get my mouth on. Hey, maybe this will make it easy to brush my teeth!

While I'm goofy and quirky, I am a bit nervous as I'm still navigating being a young dog in a shelter. I'm nervous and scared when I meet new people and might bark, but if you give me lots of treats we will become friends faster. I need someone who is willing to be patient with me and understand that I'm going to be scared at first. Once I open up, you will get to see my true, lovable self. I can assure you that we will become best friends.
