Lady Bird's Story
Meet Lady Bird.

For 9 years, she had a home she thought was forever.

Adopted in 2018 at around a year old, this petite black lab mix was recently returned—not because she did anything wrong—but because she couldn’t adjust to life with a new baby.

And she’s still just easy.

Lady Bird is happy, sweet, and a total cuddle bug. She’s house trained, respectful, and truly just a really good dog to have around. No chaos—just a calm, loving companion.

She does have some crate anxiety, so if crated she’ll need something heavy duty—but she’d much rather be with you.

The photos you see are from her transport journey back to Houston from Ohio, where everyone who met her couldn’t stop talking about how sweet and wonderful she is.

She gave 9 years of her life to a family.
