Lady(BAS)'s Story

Lady is every inch a lady :) She's sweet and reserved until she gets to know her people and doggy friends.

With a guesstimated birthday in June 2022, Lady weighs 52 lb.

Lady is a very chill girl, but loves her doggy friends and can be absolutely silly when playing with them. She doesn't vocalize much, except when she's playing. She loves to run in the yard with them and will play bite their legs to get them to chase her.

Lady is tolerant of the cats in her foster home with the exception of one. She will bark at "Slash" when she gets near. The other cats are more dog-tolerant and don't mind when she walks by or sniffs them.

Lady is fine in a car. It isn't her preference, but she's learned that cars take her interesting places to explore. She likes people, but is reserved when meeting and "smiles" when she's unsure. She doesn't rush up to greet, but allows pets once she establishes trust.

Lady is leash-savvy and house-trained. She would like to sleep on the bed, but since that's not allowed she's taken over the crate with the orthopedic bed. She doesn't mind sharing with her friends, but will tell her foster mom when it's bedtime. She gets a treat when she goes to bed, so she wants to make sure it's noted that she's heading to her crate.

Lady has some hound in her, so if off leash she'll do a lot of sniffing. Her foster mom keeps her on a leash as her recall outside isn't great. She'll look when called, then try to sneak away. She really loves laying in the sun on the deck and snoozing :)

**********************************************
IF YOU ARE USING PET FINDER:
Visit our website, www.foothillscaninerescue.org,
Choose Adopt/Adopt a Dog and find the dog you are interested in, Click the "Apply for Adoption" button to fill out an application.

The Adoption Fee includes: up-to-date on core vaccinations, spay, deworming, and monthly heartworm prevention until adoption.

For a current Adoption Events schedule, visit us on Facebook.
