Meet Lady! This sweet girl’s story starts with heartbreak - dumped in a neighborhood and too scared to let anyone near her for three long days. It’s clear life hasn’t been kind to her. She’s had babies, probably been let down more than once, and learned the hard way that not all humans are safe. But even after all that… she still chooses love! Now safe in a foster home, she’s showing her gentle, loyal heart. She loves her people (especially older kids) and once she trusts you, she’ll love you with everything she has. She’s laid back, crate-loving, respects our cats, and just starting to believe she’ll never be left behind again. We think she is around 6 years old, and a Jack Russell terrier mix of some sort! Billie’s Buddies requires reference checks, vet reference checks, a meet and greet, and a home visit as a part of our adoption process. Adopters must be located in the greater Charlotte area. All animals in the home must be spayed/neutered, and up to date on all vaccines and preventions.

Billie's Buddies mission is to rescue and raise awareness for abandoned and neglected animals, providing them the rehabilitation they need prior to finding them a loving, forever home, all while supporting spay/neuter efforts throughout our community.
