Lady's Story

Little Ladybug has had a long Rescue journey where she was a devoted mama to puppies & then made her way through heartworm treatment.

Today Lady is healthy, up to date on vaccines, has underwent dental work, is spayed & microchipped.

She is a loving, affectionate, loyal companion. Lady has a mild energy level & she enjoys daily walkies, throwing her stuffies around to herself on the couch, chewing on a bully stick & watching TV with you. Shes the type of girl to go outside & do her business and come right back in. Lady is house trained & does best on a predictable schedule for pottying. She does not require being crated, although she has been in the past. When her foster family is at work, Ladybug is most often fast asleep on the couch!

Unfortunately, Ladys life has not always been kind to her, and she does have some anxiety that she takes an inexpensive happy pill for daily. Ladybug has been attacked by other animals (dog & cat) previously, which has made her avoid avoidant of other animals. She has previously lived with dogs & cats in foster, but due to these negative experiences, she avoids meeting other pets. Therefore, we believe she would be happiest in a single pet home. Ladybug is not reactive to dogs she sees while out walking. She is interested in small animals, such as birds, bunnies, etc & would likely chase them.

Little lady is friendly with people & strangers. She also welcomes attention from children, including little kids. Lady lived with children as young as three years old & would sleep in their bed with them. She can get excited when kids are around & may jump, which we are working on to be more polite. Ladybug does know sit & she walks well on a leash, only a mild pull when shes excited.
3-4 years old
Up to date on vaccines
Heartworm negative - on prevention
Microchipped
Spayed
House trained
Takes a daily happy pill (Fluoxetine)
Good with kids
Thrives in a single pet home
