Lady's Story

Hi, I'm Lady. I was in a rough spot and about to be euthanized, but they found out I was pregnant and was able to be pulled by the rescue. When I was taken to the vet after my foster family got me, they found out that I had an above average number of puppies. I'm so glad that we were able to get me out. I won't be able to be adopted until my puppies are ready to head out in late May or early June, but I've been told I'm a sweetheart and am ready to find a home that I can share all my love. All Arctic Rescue dogs are marked “yes” to “Needs Experienced Adopter.” This is because Northern Breeds typically have higher exercise, training, and care requirements than others. We recommend thoroughly researching the breed before pursuing adoption, if you do not have prior experience.

Arctic Rescue's Adoption Policy
HOW OUR ADOPTIONS WORK: 1) We require all adopters to fill out an online application at: https://www.arcticrescue.com/adopt 2) We are a Utah-based rescue. All potential adopters must come to Utah and meet the dogs. We do not transport dogs. 3) We want to make sure that your home is the perfect fit for one of our dogs and vice versa. We want all members of the family to be happy and well matched with each-other, so require families to do a phone interview, reference checks, meet dogs and pass a home-inspection before adoption.
