Lady's Story

🌹 Meet Lady (aka Robin) 🌹
This girl has had more than her fair share of struggles, but she’s never let it dim her light. From battling tough skin issues to recovering from hip surgery, Lady has proven herself to be nothing short of a little warrior. And through it all, she’s remained the same.....loving, cuddly, and full of joy for life. 💪🐾
Lady doesn’t know a stranger. She adores people, leans right in for love, and will happily claim the title of “Velcro dog.” Sometimes her excitement gets the best of her, earning her the nickname “little worm” because she just wiggles with happiness. She’s learning boundaries and doing her best to remember not to jump, which makes her a great candidate for a family that’s patient, structured, and ready to help her keep learning.
She loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with a playmate. Cats are more complicated - she hasn’t hurt one, but she does love to chase, so she may do best in a cat-free household unless her new family is dedicated to teaching her how to be gentle.
Lady is kennel trained and it’s an important part of her routine. Without it, she can get into mischief....she’s been known to “help” declutter the house if left to her own devices. 🙃 A kennel keeps her safe and gives her the structure she needs. Lady also brings plenty of fun quirks, like sneaking sticks inside through the doggy door! Her way of adding décor to the living room. 🍂🪵😂
Because of her medical history (she’s currently rehabbing from an FHO hip surgery), Lady still needs a family who will follow her restrictions while she continues to heal. But don’t let that scare you - she’s resilient, determined, and just as ready to play as she is to snuggle.
Lady would fit into just about any household that can provide her with outlets for play, enrichment, and affection. She’s the kind of dog who reminds you every day to celebrate joy, fight through hard times, and love with your whole heart. 💗
👉 Apply to adopt Lady today and give this survivor the forever home she’s been waiting for.
https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/TGLR/Dog
