Lady

Lady walks into a room, finds the softest thing in it, and settles in. A dog bed, a folded blanket, the end of the couch. She is not picky about which one, as long as it is soft and you are somewhere nearby.

Lady is a 12 year old tan girl with a frosted gray muzzle and a pair of folded back ears. She came to us when her owners surrendered her, and she is spayed and microchipped.

At her age, Lady has nothing left to prove. She would like a quiet house, a few easy walks, and a bed that belongs to her. She is a sweet, gentle dog to be around, and she would suit someone who wants a calm companion more than an adventure partner. A senior dog comes home already knowing who she is, and Lady is ready to fit herself into a slower routine with someone who enjoys one.

A few things before you apply. Lady is fine with other dogs who give her space, so she would do best as an only dog or alongside a calm dog who lets her rest.

We prefer to schedule appointments for meet and greets to make sure someone is available to spend time with you.
