Lacy's Story

Lacy is a total sweetheart and a true couch potato who would happily spend the day snuggled up next to you. When it’s time to go outside, though, her hound instincts kick in—she’s always sniffing for a trail and would love a home that enjoys a little adventuring too.

She’s dog friendly and kid friendly in her foster home and has an easy, loving personality. Lacy must have a securely fenced yard where she can safely follow her nose and explore.

While in foster care, Lacy had one eye removed and has healed beautifully. She’s healthy, happy, and gets around just fine—her affectionate nature and zest for life haven’t slowed down one bit.

If you’re looking for a snuggly, loyal hound with a sense of adventure, Lacy is ready to meet you.

Pitt Friends's Adoption Policy
Thank you for considering adopting from Pitt Friends! The first step in our adoption process is filling out our application, which you can find at pittfriends.com. If your application is approved, the foster family will reach out to you directly to arrange a meet and greet at a mutually agreeable time and place. We do not have a shelter facility. All of our animals live in foster care full time, in the homes of our volunteers. Our adoption fee is $200 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, deworming, and any other medical care that is required prior to adoption. A home check and vet reference are required prior to adoption. Each dog has different needs, so if one particular dog is not the right fit for your home, we may be able to recommend another that is a better match!
