Lacey's Story
Lacey was found as a stray and taken to a rural shelter we help in south Texas. The shelter was full, so we had to save her quickly. Thankfully, one of our fosters agreed to bring Lacey into her home, and we were able to save her life. She has been in our program since the first week of March, and she has completed her veterinary care. Now she’s ready to find her forever person!

Lacey was scared when we rescued her, but she has come a long way. She isn’t a dominant dog and gets along well with every dog we’ve introduced her to. She loves kids and isn’t much of a barker.

Lacey is house trained and likes to go for walks. She isn’t a high energy girl, and she’ll be a good couch companion.

Lacey is 6 months old and weighs 42 pounds. We think she’s a Lab mix. She is spayed, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. She is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Lacey can arrive in DeWitt, NY on May 23.
