She came to us with her siblings and has quickly shown what a tender, trusting heart she has beneath her initial shyness.

When La Croix first arrived in her foster home, she was terrified of people and hesitant to come out of her kennel-but the sound of her foster family's dogs gave her courage. From that moment, dogs became her comfort zone and her bridge to confidence. With their help (and plenty of love and patience from her humans), La Croix has blossomed into a happy, affectionate, playful puppy who prances and wiggles with excitement when she greets you. She absolutely adores other dogs and would thrive in a home with a friendly canine companion who can show her the ropes and join in her puppy play sessions.

La Croix's days have a nice rhythm. She sleeps peacefully through the night in her kennel, goes outside for her morning potty break, then spends the day in her pen with toys and naps while her foster works. After work she enjoys running around the yard, playing with her foster's lab, and snuggling up for evening cuddle time. She eats her meals in her pen to help her stay focused- she's still a baby, after all! Her bedtime is around 9 pm, and she's as quiet and cozy a sleeper as they come.

Though still cautious when someone moves too quickly or reaches for her unexpectedly, La Croix's trust grows each day. She's learning that people are safe and kind- and once she bonds, she bonds deeply. She's affectionate and gentle, melting into your arms when you pick her up, and has even been the sweetest little guest at a gathering where everyone who held her fell in love with her soft, cuddly personality. Her foster says her big, soulful eyes look like they belong in a Disney movie- they're full of warmth and emotion.

La Croix is crate-trained and working on her potty training. Like any puppy, she's curious about what's chewable and what's not, but she redirects easily to toys. She's not ready for walks yet (she's still finishing her puppy vaccines) and will need patience with leash training once she starts. She can cry or bark when left in her pen, so she'd do best in a home that will work with her on alone time, and she'll likely benefit from the comfort of another dog by her side.

La Croix is looking for an adopter who understands that trust takes time- and that it's so worth it. Once you've earned her heart, you'll have the sweetest, most devoted little companion who loves to play, cuddle, and follow you (and your dog!) from room to room.

If you're looking for a puppy who combines softness, sweetness, and spirit, La Croix will win you over the moment she looks up at you with those big, expressive eyes.
