At just four months old, this sweet puppy was thrown from a moving car and abandoned in a parking lot. She was sick, suffering from mange, and covered in sores, cuts, and wounds.

But Libby is a fighter! She is also highly food motivated, which means she is going to be a fantastic student. With the right person, Libby could learn all kinds of tricks, games, and commands. She’s the kind of dog who will thrive when her brain and body are kept busy.

Libby would love an active family who will include her in their adventures and give her plenty of exercise, playtime, training, and attention. She should have another energetic, playful dog in her new home so she has a canine buddy who can keep up with her puppy energy.

And although Libby is still small, she has discovered that she has a BIG voice! Her bark is surprisingly loud for such a little girl, so an apartment or close-quarter living situation would not be a good fit for her.

Libby is 6 months old, 31 pounds and still growing! She is crate trained and learning basic commands. She walks nicely on a leash.

Libby has already overcome more in her short life than any puppy should ever have to experience. Now she needs what every puppy deserves: a loving family, a canine friend, room to play, someone willing to teach her, and a lifetime of being cherished.

Her past may have been heartbreaking, but her future can be anything but.

Libby is almost ready for her happily-ever-after.
