KYRIE's Story
Kyrie is a stunning 11⁄2-year-old male lilac tri Pit Bull with a big personality and an equally big zest for life. He came in as a transfer and may be a bit reserved at first—often seen relaxing at the back of his kennel—but as soon as he sees a leash, he’s quick to come forward, ready to head out and explore. Kyrie is easy to leash but pulls very strongly, so he’ll need an experienced handler who can provide structure, training, and consistency to help him learn better leash manners. He doesn’t show signs of prior training, but he does have a playful side and shows interest in toys, which can be a great tool for building skills and bonding. Around other dogs, Kyrie is very social and forward, greeting them with a loose, wiggly body and lots of enthusiasm, so a dog-to-dog meet is required to ensure compatibility with any resident pets. Due to his strength and lack of manners, he’s not recommended for homes with small children at this time. Kyrie is full of potential; he’s looking for a committed home that can give him the guidance he needs to grow into a well-mannered, loyal companion.
