KYRA's Story
Meet Kyra, she's just a baby — about 11 weeks old — and her story already tugs at your heart. She was found completely alone, abandoned and frightened, trying to survive in a world far too big for such a tiny soul.

Right now, Kyra is a very shy, scared little pup. She's quiet and observant, taking everything in as she slowly learns that she's finally safe. She's not the kind of puppy who will rush into your arms on day one — but she is the kind who will bloom beautifully with patience, gentleness, and time.

Kyra is currently in foster care with other puppies, learning by watching them, even if she's still unsure and hanging back. We're still learning how she feels about cats. What we do know is that Kyra will thrive best in a calm, low-key home with patient adults and older, respectful children who understand giving her space and letting her build confidence at her own pace.

Kyra doesn't need perfection — she needs compassion. A quiet home, gentle hearts, and someone willing to celebrate the smallest steps will help this little girl grow into the confident pup she's meant to be.

Apply for consideration to adopt at www.ruffdogrescue.org

Please note, we receive a large number of applications. We appreciate your patience as we complete our review processes. A personal interview, reference checks, meet and greet with pet, home visit and a solid vet history are required for adoption.

Ruff Dog Rescue—Turning RUFF Starts into New Beginnings.
