**Fenced Yard Required**<br/><br/>Kyon is the strong, silent type. Man of the house, wise monitor, companion, and loyal friend. This beautiful labrador (and possibly Anatolian shepherd) mix, is eager to find a home of his own. A gorgeous tawny fellow with a chunky build, at 60 pounds, he is the perfect size. Kyon gets along well with children and other dogs. Kitties beware, Kyon is not enamored with the feline species, and may run you out of town!<br/><br/>Given his chill personality and some time to learn indoor house rules, Kyon would be happy to lay on the rug alongside the children or grandchildren as they play. Kyon is alert for the sound of the school bus and the mailman, and you can feel safe knowing he is surveying the sights from his fenced yard with watchful eyes. <br/><br/>Having misspent his youth wandering, Kyon's lonely heart is longing to put down roots. He has little experience in the ways of house and home, but he is a fast learner and eager to please. We are confident he would quickly become <br/>equally happy at home lounging at the family picnic or watching the game in the den with the guys. This big guy might gladly accompany you out to the garage or woodshop, or upstairs to the sewing room while you work on a quilt. He is patient and calm, happy to listen to your thoughts, and will warm your feet on chilly days. This fee includes:<br/>• Extensive medical health check by a licensed veterinarian<br/>• Up to date on all vaccinations and current on heartworm and flea/tick prevention<br/>• Spayed/Neutered<br/>• Microchipped<br/>Our goal is to find loving homes for all our rescued animals. Because we care about our rescues and their future, some animals have certain new family requirements before they can be released to their new home. Requirements for adoption could include the following:<br/>• Fenced yard. We will ask for a video that shows the entire fence so that we can verify that there are no holes or gaps where the dog could escape. (We do not accept invisible fences.)<br/>• Veterinary reference for previous and current pet owners (must be/have been current on vaccinations and heartworm prevention) We will call your current/previous veterinarian to verify that you have a history of providing vaccinations and heartworm prevention for your animal(s).<br/>• If no previous veterinary history, purchase of a 3 month supply of heartworm prevention from our vet.<br/>• If renting, verification with the Landlord on acceptability of pets and any restrictions.<br/>If you are interested in adopting one our rescues, please complete our Online Adoption Application at http://www.fayettefcar.com/ready-to-adopt.
