- Big lug of a dog who loves toys, treats, and keeping his mind and beefy body busy <br/><br/>- Some of his favorite toys are giggle balls, Nylabones, Kongs, and stuffies he can carry around and squeak; when you throw his toys, he'll gallop after them and bring them back ... but not necessarily right to you, although he does pretty well at trading them out for treats<br/><br/>- Enjoys booty scratches and loves giving slobbery kisses <br/><br/>- Will keep you laughing with his facial expressions and big, goofy ears <br/><br/>- Has no concept of how big he is and could use some work on his manners (he means no harm, he's just a big dude); has been working on polite behaviors here in the shelter and making progress - he's treat-motivated and very trainable, and he'd be an excellent candidate for ARL training classes <br/><br/>- Will sit for treats and is also skilled at catching treats in his mouth - sometimes multiple at a time! <br/><br/>- Enjoys walks and can be quite the puller before he's burned off some energy, so a harness would be a good option<br/><br/>- Can be a linebacker-type player with other dogs and will likely do best with a select group of sturdy, rough-and-tumble dog friends with a similar play style (dog intro required) <br/><br/>- May be a bit much for young children right now; would likely do best in a home where all family members are big enough and mature enough to enjoy his energy <br/><br/>- We don't know his history with cats <br/><br/>- If you love big, burly dogs and are looking for a dog to train and go on adventures with, this guy is a great choice! <br/><br/>This pet qualifies for our 7-day Foster-to-Adopt program.
