Meet Kya!<br/><br/>Kya first joined us in late 2024 as part of a large group of dogs who made the journey from Norman to Oregon in search of brighter futures. She was quickly adopted and welcomed into a loving home, but as life became busier, it became clear that Kya would thrive best in a home better matched to her active personality and needs. Her adopter made the incredibly selfless decision to help her find that perfect fit-and now she's ready for her next chapter.<br/><br/>Kya is an adorable smaller medium-sized girl with a gentle heart and a fun, energetic spirit. While she bonds quickly with her people (often warming up within a day!), she's also a very active, playful pup who loves to move, explore, and engage with the world around her. Her ideal home will be one that can truly embrace her energy and zest for life: A home with a large, securely fenced yard or property where she can run and play, An active person or family who will include her in daily adventures, A friendly, confident dog companion (similar in size or larger) who enjoys playtime and can help her continue building confidence and learning the ropes, Kya absolutely thrives with the right canine companion. She takes comfort in other dogs and blossoms when she has a playful buddy by her side. In homes with smaller or older dogs, we've found that her enthusiastic play style and higher energy can sometimes be a bit overwhelming-she simply loves to play!
