Meet Kuro <br/><br/>Kuro is a handsome black Chow Chow, estimated to be 4–5 years old, and he is truly one of the sweetest, most gentle boys you could ever meet.<br/><br/>Kuro was found wandering all alone and was brought to the Bedford County Open Intake Shelter in Bedford, VA by Animal Control. Sadly, no one came looking for him. Given the condition he was in, it’s not hard to imagine why.<br/><br/>His beautiful coat was completely matted and extremely overgrown, and he desperately needed someone to give him the care he had likely been missing for a very long time. Despite everything he had been through, Kuro remained calm and reserved in his kennel. Once he was outside for walks, though, his true personality began to shine. He was gentle, interactive, and simply happy to spend time with people.<br/><br/>After his much-needed grooming, the handsome boy underneath was finally revealed—and what a transformation! Kuro met several dogs after his grooming and was an absolute gentleman. He was incredibly chill, sweet, and respectful, impressing everyone who had the opportunity to meet him.<br/><br/>Everyone who has met Kuro has fallen in love with him. He has such a gentle soul and seems grateful for every bit of kindness he receives. He deserves so much more than the life he has known.<br/><br/>Kuro is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and house trained.<br/><br/>We are hoping someone will see what we see in this beautiful boy and give him the chance he deserves. We just want Kuro to finally know what it feels like to be safe, loved, and truly cared for.<br/><br/>Don’t worry, Kuro.
