Kuno's Story
Handsome boy, Kuno is available for adoption!

Please visit our website to complete an adoption application:
www.twodogfarms.com/adopt

Adoption fees are $350.
info@twodogfarms.com

Notes from his foster Mom:
Kuno eats well. He is fed twice a day. We don’t see any human food guarding, but we don’t have him fed around any other dogs. We always divide to feed.
We don’t have him around furniture per se, but he does not destroy anything in his kennel or out in the yard other than stuffed animals.. We've never had trouble moving him from one location to the other.
Once he was with us for a few weeks, we could rub his teeth, his paws, pretty much his whole body, though I have not tried to trim his nails - that was done by the vet when he was knocked out for his neuter.
Kuno loves to be rubbed on the head once he knows you. In fact, once he knows you, he is very accepting of touch all over his body including his belly if you can get him to sit still!
He's good about having his leash and harness on.
Kuno doesn’t seem to resource guard, toys or balls or anything like that, even when we take them away from him-but I have not had him around other dogs to see if he would be protective around other dogs.
When he came into foster, he was very unhappy when he was transported in a crate-but of course, that was after it took several weeks of them, trapping him as a stray, and in his kennel at his foster home, he has an open crate that he sleeps in and doesn’t seem to care and when we've closed his dog door on occasion and he’s locked in his little kennel area.
He definitely knows sit so if you have a toy he will definitely come to you, but could use some more training!
At first, when we tested him with car rides, he struggled getting in and out, but now he hops in and out with no problem.
He seems fine with strangers, especially if they’re gonna play with him or take him on a walk!
When out on a walk, he seems to ignore other dogs -but he has fence fought with a few at his foster home -we have walked him side-by-side with another Jindo and he doesn’t seem bothered.
Kuno definitely has the typical high prey drive of Jindos (and other Asian breeds), so we'd advise caution around cats and other small animals.
Kuno appears not quite as stand-offish as many other Jindos, which is refreshing! A lovely boy indeed.
