Kubo's Story
Kubo is highly addictive and has been known to cause spontaneous baby talk and excessive cuddling!

At around 11 pounds, he's equal parts cuddle bug, toy enthusiast, and snack connoisseur all packed into one special dog. Whether he's zooming around with a toy, making you laugh with his goofy personality, or gently demanding belly rubs, Kubo has a way of making himself impossible not to love.

According to his foster, "Kubo is affectionate, playful, and loves being near his people. He enjoys toys, cozy spots to nap, neighborhood strolls, and gentle affection, including petting, brushing, combing, and snuggling." While he certainly appreciates a good nap, don't let his age fool you - Kubo still has plenty of energy and loves being part of the action around him!

Once he settles in, Kubo could do well in a home with other dogs and cats with slow, thoughtful introductions. Most of all, Kubo is looking for what he's been missing all along: a stable, loving home where he can finally relax, feel safe, and be absolutely spoiled with the affection he deserves.

Being a senior, Kubo does have some medical needs and takes medications to help him feel his best. He'll need a family who can continue supporting his care, including osteoarthritis that can cause discomfort at times. Because of this, he'd do best with people who can let him keep all four paws on the ground when possible. While he may not be the biggest fan of vet visits (who can blame him!), in everyday life he is a loving little guy who enjoys affectionate attention from people he trusts.

If you're looking for a loyal cuddle buddy with plenty of personality and even more love to give, Kubo may just be your perfect match. Apply to adopt today, and if you have any adoption questions, please email adoptions@phillypaws.org.

------------------------------------

This dog is considered a mixed breed because it's not accurate to identify breed mix by sight alone, so for most dogs, their mix is only a guess. We get to know each dog as an individual and strive to make matches based on personality, not on breed label.

------------------------------------

This dog is currently located in a PAWS foster home. In order to meet with any dogs in foster care, you will need to have a fully processed and approved application first.
