Kronk's Story

Meet Kronk — a big-hearted boy with an even bigger capacity for love.

Kronk is a fun-loving, happy soul who believes life is meant to be enjoyed—whether that’s exploring the yard, going for a walk, or soaking up affection from his people. He’s a solid 105 pounds of pure goodness, and his “extra thickness” just means there’s more of him to cuddle and love.

Kronk’s journey hasn’t been an easy one. He came to us from a high-kill shelter where he was scheduled for euthanasia simply due to lack of space. While we don’t know much about his past, it’s clear he likely never experienced life inside a home before. When he arrived, everything was new—house training, crates, leashes—but Kronk has been trying his best and making steady progress every day.

He does well in a crate, is learning the ropes of leash walking (and settles into a lovely stride once he gets going), and continues to improve with house training. His sweet, eager-to-please nature shines through in everything he does.

Kronk gets along well with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a large, securely fenced yard where he can explore and enjoy the simple pleasures of being a dog. Most of all, he wants what he never had before—a safe, loving home where he can spend his days adventuring and his nights curled up warm and cozy with his people.

Kronk is fully vetted, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations. He’s ready to leave his past behind and start the life he’s always deserved.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a gentle heart and a joyful spirit, Kronk just might be your perfect match.

Ready to give this sweet guy his forever home?
https://rubiesandrogues.com/pages/placement-application
