Meet the best boy in the world… Kris Kringle! Kris is a gorgeous, 3-year-old pit/puggle mix. He is everyone’s favorite, lighting up the room as soon as he runs his chunky body up to every single person with that signature Krissie smile on his face, never fading. He is always on a mission– to meet every person and make their day. There is nothing he loves more than being pet, getting belly rubs, and just being around people. The returns and heartbreaks never broke his spirit, and he always keeps that goofy look of hope and love.

Kris originally battled with car reactivity and leash biting but has since made astronomical progress with the rescue trainer and volunteers that reinforce his training. He is now able to walk great around cars and other distractions, his leash manners have greatly improved and, though can be scattered and distracted at times, volunteers can quickly refocus him. Kris will thrive in a quiet area with little distractions, and with an experienced pack leader that will continue his training and offer him an active, structured environment.

Kris is a very sweet and affectionate boy, longing for someone to love and understand him. He is great with all he meets: all people, all other dogs, children, and even cats, too. Two homes have deserted Kris already, so he will need time to settle, decompress, and learn that this new home is forever.
