Meet Kovu!<br/><br/>Kovu is about 4–5 months old and made the long trip from Texas last weekend alongside his sister, Kiara! He is a handsome mixed breed pup who is expected to be on the larger side once fully grown and we have a feeling he's going to grow into one very handsome boy!<br/><br/>Kovu is definitely the shyer of the two siblings and is still learning that this big new world isn't so scary. New people, places, and experiences can take him a little extra time to feel comfortable with but every single day he has been opening up more and more! His foster is already getting to see more of his sweet personality come through as he settles in and gains confidence.<br/><br/>Underneath that shy exterior is an incredibly sweet boy who just needs someone willing to give him a little patience, reassurance, and time to blossom at his own pace. Once Kovu realizes he's safe, you can see him start to relax and let his guard down and watching him come out of his shell has been so rewarding!<br/><br/>Since Kovu is still just a puppy, he has plenty of growing and learning ahead of him. He'll need a family who is ready to continue working on his confidence, socialization, training and puppy manners while showing him just how fun life can be!<br/><br/>We think Kovu is going to make an incredibly loyal and loving companion for the family willing to give this shy boy the chance he deserves.
