Koolaid's Story

This super sweet puppy is ready for his forever home & ready to "refresh" your life.

Koolaid is just 9+ lbs at 3 months old and the vets estimate that he will grow up to be under 25 lbs as an adult.

He is sweet & playful & cuddly & a typical puppy.

His new family must be prepared for puppy shananigans such as teething, chewing, getting in front of your feet, inside potty accidents, etc. With proper training & routine, this is very manageable with consistency & patience.

His short little legs have us guessing that he may have some Dachshund or Corgi in him, but we can't know what his true mix is, as we do not know Mom or Dad.

What we do know is that whoever adopts this boy, will get one adorable fur baby for life ! Apply today.

Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies.

Puppies - We do not adopt puppies under 16 weeks to out of state adopters. This is due to our spay/neuter policy, and all dogs must be spayed/neutered before leaving Georgia state lines. We do not adopt siblings to the same household.

Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.

Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.

Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.
