He always wants to be close to you. He melts in your arms like a popsicle on a hot summer day. His face and breathing get blissed out when you scratch both ears at the same time. He’s on the small side (10 pounds), and enjoys being held in a hug pose. He’s great with respectful children, and loves all ages, genders, and sizes of humans. He is obsessively in love with any doggie friends who cross his path. He wants to say hello to any dog on a walk and pulls on the leash to follow them---for a little guy he can be rather forceful in this. He also has a tendency to try to bolt out of any open door, so it’s important that his new home can manage this with extra baby gates around doors or being diligent about leashing him before a door is open. <br/><br/>Konaa is good with cats. He is working on pottie training, but needs to wear a band for now to help him not mark. He might have a history of being pee pad trained. He would do well in a house with children and with another dog who can tolerate his puppy energy and indefatigable desire to be close at all times.<br/>If you are looking for a cuddle bug and a buddy to stick by your side, then Konaa might be the one for you! <br/>He will need to be groomed every 2 months or less.<br/><br/>Adoption fee is $500 <br/>Helps to cover neuter, shots, microchip, dewormer, and flea prevention.
