Kona's Story
Meet Kona

Kona has come such a long way from the scared, feral girl she once was. These days, she's learning that home life is actually pretty great — soft beds, good friends, and people who love her.

Kona is super sweet and does wonderfully in a pack. Having other dogs around helps her feel comfortable and confident, and she'd be a great fit for a home with canine companions. She's also good with kids, house trained, and non-destructive.

She can still be shy when she's figuring out new people or situations, so she'll do best with someone willing to give her a little time to settle in and build trust. Her leash skills are still a work in progress, but she's learning.

Kona has gone from surviving on her own to thriving in a home, and it's been pretty incredible to watch. She may need a little patience in the beginning, but underneath that initial shyness is an incredibly sweet girl who is ready for her next chapter.
