Kona - ADOPTED!'s Story
Kona is a sweet 6-year-old Samoyed boy who was recently saved from Amish mill life. Kona has been in foster care since November. In his foster home he has been adjusting to dog life inside while enjoying the company of two other dogs.

Kona is known for being an incredibly sweet dog who loves to spend time with his foster parents. One of his best qualities is his snuggly, friendly personality. Kona is still learning the rules of living indoors and will need a home who will continue to work with him on potty training. The Amish mill dogs our rescue has taken in have come a long way in a short amount of time, but their owners need to be patient and think of them as puppies who need training.

From Kona's foster mom:

Describe my personality: Sweet natured, happy boy.
3 words to describe me: Gentle, Loving and Cuddly
Your favorite things about me: His happy dancing paws when he sees you.
What do I like to do: Lay in my favorite spot on the couch watching everyone.
My favorite treat or snack: Loves all treats in general.
Where do I spent the majority of my time: In his favorite spot on the couch.
What I want in a forever home: To be the only pet that gets all the attention.
Anything I look forward to still learning in my forever home: Go potty outside and not mark my territory in the house. Crate training works with him, and he understands that outside is the place to go, but he is still occasionally marking. He never makes a mistake in his gated area and loves his doggy door access to a fenced in yard.
