Kona is a studly, 1.6 year old, Black, male Great Dane. He is very shy and timid in new environments and somewhat leery of men, but he warms up quickly once he knows he can trust you and is gaining confidence every day! He is a very sweet, affectionate and loving boy who craves human approval. Kona gets along great with other dogs of all sizes and kids and seems to have a submissive personality. He is a typical Dane leaner who will be your loyal shadow and is gentle and sensitive. He was dumped at a shelter because his owner lived in a townhome and didn't have enough space for him. Kona is a bit jumpy with loud noises and sudden movements but doesn't have a mean bone in his body and is starting to feel safe. He is house trained and knows sit, lay down and stay.
