Kona's story <br/>KONA MUST BE ADOPTED WITH HER BROTHER TITUS <br/><br/>Titus and Kona were born in June 2011, they are 3 1/2 years old, brother and sister. They lived with their owner who was a Animal Control Officer in Connecticut. These two have been together since the day they were born and are very attached to each other. Their owner died and his wife and daughter moved to Florida. They could not keep the dogs and surrendered them to a shelter in Florida. The shelter sent a mass email asking rescue groups to take the dogs, these were family raised, well behaved and beautiful.<br/><br/>Grace immediately contacted the shelter manager, our friend Diana Alcazar called them and put a hold in the name of GGARR. On December 31, 2014 they were transported from the shelter to Ocala, FL by a volunteer and from Ocala to Gainesville by Janet and Grace.<br/><br/>Titus and Kona are now at Janet Fletcher's home and will be taken to a vet next week. Kona is spayed, but Titus needs neutering.<br/><br/>We will place these two together, we will not separate them.
