Kolache

Meet Kolache! Kolache is a 4-month-old, 7 lbs, female, chi mix. She arrived in NYC a week ago and is adjusting well during her time with the foster family in Jersey City. Kolache‘s favorite things are cuddling, watching tv with her foster parents, following her foster parents around the house, and playing with her toys whenshe's by herself. She's smart and has mastered potty outside and understanding “sit”. She walks on a leash, but can be distracted and gets nervous when there are loud noises and/or many people on the street. She prefers a quiet, peaceful walk, and loves a park where she can sniff and do her business without distraction. She is working on her confidence being outdoors with all the hustle and bustle. <br/><br/>Kolache is an easy-going, low/medium energy, affectionate dog. She naps most of the day and is working on her confidence of being left alone. She would cry for 5-10 minutes before giving up. Kolache is looking for a quiet, low-key, or medium-active family. She appreciates downtime and active moments! She would be okay being a solo dog or a baby sister to another pup. Kolache does well with another dog that is not too hyperactive as she gets nervous easily. Kolache is fine with children.<br/><br/>Vaccinated for rabies, DHPP, and bordetella, spayed and microchipped. Current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention and recently dewormed. <br/><br/>To apply for Kolache, visit our website (www.waggytailrescue.org) for an adoption application.
