Koi's Story

How this pet arrived:This pet was brought in by a community member. Why this pet is the one for you: Meet Koi, the "liveliest" 7-year-old you'll ever meet! While she recently returned to us as a stray, we remember this sweet girl fondly from her time in foster care. Back then, her foster family raved about what a fantastic companion she is, and we know those wonderful traits are still there. Koi is the perfect blend of playful energy and professional lounging. Her foster noted that she loves to spend most of her day snoozing, but when she's awake, she's "living it up" with a joyful, spirited personality. She has a history of being great with children and got along beautifully with other dogs. She is already potty trained and knows her house manners, though she does have a silly side-she considers fabric chew toys a personal challenge to be shredded! While she's a champion sleeper at home, she's a bit of a "puller" on the leash, so she'd love a family ready to continue working on her walking skills. If you're looking for a kid-friendly, dog-friendly, and expert-level cuddler, Koi is ready to jump (politely!) back into a new home. At SDHS:Koi has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. Koi is now ready for adoption! Primary Color: Beige Weight: 60.7lbs Age: 7yrs 1mths 2wks Animal has been Spayed
