Hi! I’m Kody! I’m a 7-month-old mixed breed pup with a soft heart and a whole lot of potential. I was found gallivanting around Lenexa with my sister, Laney—just the two of us out exploring the world together. While that adventure is behind me now, I’m ready for something even better: a forever home of my very own. I can be a little shy when we first meet, but don’t worry—I really come out of my shell around confident, playful dogs who help show me the ropes. Once I feel safe, my fun, puppy personality starts to shine. Since I’m still a young guy, obedience training would be a fantastic way for us to bond while I learn how to be a polite, well-mannered member of society. I’m eager to learn and would love someone who’s excited to grow alongside me. If you’re looking for a sweet young pup who’s just waiting for his chance to blossom, come meet me today. Great Plains SPCA's Adoption Policy

We are open for adoptions, no appointment necessary, Wednesdays through Sundays from 11am-7pm. On Monday and Tuesday, we are available for adoptions by appointment only. -We recommend (and in some cases require) that all members of the household meet the pet prior to adoption. -Great Plains SPCA runs background checks on adopters and adults in the home over 18. -Great Plains SPCA requires all visitors to wear masks that cover the nose and mouth at all times while inside our buildings. Adoption Requirements: - Adopter must be 18 years of age or older. - For the safety and health of our animals, we do not ship pets. - Pet adoption fees range from $60 to $450. Our adoption fees help to offset the cost of evaluation, housing, feeding and medical care for the thousands of animals needing our help. We do our best to keep our adoption prices reasonable while generating income to support our goal of caring for animals available for adoption until we can place them in a loving home. The adoption fee for each animal varies and is dependent on many factors including: age, size, behavior, medical condition, and public demand.
