Kodiak's Story

My name is Kodiak. I am 5-6 years old husky that is looking for my forever home. I have always been an only dog but I am starting to meet other dogs and do okay with them. I am not sure what to think when they try to play. I usually run away and hide behind foster mom. I am on the fluffy side by a lot but I love to go explore and go on hikes. However I am smart too I know if you let me off leash I can take off and You can’t catch me. I love kids and I can tolerate a lot from them. When I see a kid or hear one my tail starts wagging and I just have to lick their face and get some pets!!! I have been feed human food for a good chunk of my life so I will sometimes ignore my dry food and help myself to your food if I can get to it. My foster mom says it’s rude but my tummy tells me otherwise. I love laying around with you and just enjoying the day as it goes by or we can go for a ride on a 4 wheeler or a car. I really just want to enjoy life with a person or a family that will keep me forever.

Others dogs possible
No cats
Children awesome
Must have secured fence

Please email nwsnowdogrescue@aol.com for an application.

Kodiak is from NW Snowdog Rescue

[Deer Park, WA]

Our Mission

So some longtime volunteers felt that something needed to be done to fill...
