At just over a year old, Kodiak is still very much a youngster with his whole life ahead of him. Kodiak is one handsome boy, with a beautiful rich chocolate coat and those wonderful expressive Lab eyes. But while he certainly has the looks, no one has spent much time teaching this young guy what is expected of him. Simply put, Kodiak doesn’t know what he doesn’t know.

He has had very little training, so his new family will need to be committed to putting in the time to teach him basic commands, leash manners, and all the things that will help him become a well-mannered family companion. At only a year old, he is at a wonderful age to learn, but Kodiak needs someone who understands that training doesn’t happen overnight. Consistency, patience, exercise, and positive reinforcement will be important.

Kodiak is a young Labrador who has simply missed out on some of the guidance he should have received during his first year.
