The SOLE reason we must find him a simpler lifestyle is I bring him to work & he’s very “monogamous” w/ petting.

I work 1-on-1 as a therapist & it’s too much exposure for the Akita in Koda, so loyal to the owner. My PTSD/cancer clients can pet him only briefly, unlike 8 years w/ my previous Akita-husky-malamute. For the last 3 of Koda’s 5 months, clients settle for Relishing him at their feet -though he sneaks in “quicks licks” to the hand upon greets.

So, Akita = no greet other dogs, no dog parks.
