Koda's Story

Koda is a sweet, goofy 2-year-old Pointer mix, always looking for his next hug. He loves being close to his people — don't be surprised if he climbs right into your lap despite his size! He has a way of making you laugh every day, and for all his silliness he's also a deeply caring and attentive dog. He's fully house-trained and has learned commands like sit, shake, and stay. Indoors he's well-behaved and happy to nap in a sunny spot while you are working or look out the window when you're out.

He's a moderate energy dog who gets along great with other dogs and loves to wrestle and play. Outside, his Pointer instincts kick in — he'll happily chase squirrels and bark up a tree, but redirects quite easily with his favorite squeaky toys. He's an eager walker and does pull, but he's made real progress — he's learned to check in with you when asked and settles into a more comfortable pace as the walk goes on.

Koda would do best in a relatively quiet home with adults only and a fenced-in yard. A dog friend would be a bonus, but he loves his people so much that it's not a must. He's a loyal, affectionate dog with a playful side — a wonderful companion for the right home!

MA Rescue License #0078

Please visit our website Sweet Paws Rescue if you would like more information about us.
