He’s the perfect blend of lazy couch potato, playful goofball, and Velcro companion who wants nothing more than to love and be loved.<br/><br/>Koda is incredibly cuddly, affectionate, and loyal. He’s gentle, goofy, and happiest when he’s included in whatever you’re doing — especially if it involves snuggling. He has soulful eyes, a big heart, and a silly side that shines once he’s comfortable. He loves treats (especially blueberries, strawberries, pumpkin purée, and whipped cream!) and enjoys lounging inside or spending quiet time outdoors.<br/><br/>He’s also very intelligent and highly trainable. Koda knows an impressive list of commands:<br/>Sit, stay, lie down, come, middle, paw, other paw, celebrate, back it up, hide and seek, hold it, ok, release, wait, place, through, roll over, vacuum (yes — he cleans up dropped food on command!). He catches on quickly and loves learning.<br/><br/>Koda gets along with people of all ages, though he definitely prefers a more laidback energy. Koda does well with other dogs, though he prefers the company of older, calmer dogs rather than high-energy playmates. He can get a little overwhelmed in chaotic environments and when meeting new people. Koda needs a patient adopter who will give him the space he needs to warm up and understands his sensitivities will be important for his success.
