COURTESY POSTING.<br/>Meet Daxter & Koda Bonded 5-Year-Old German Shepherd Mixes<br/>Looking for Their Forever Home.<br/><br/>It breaks our hearts to have to make this decision, but due to our child<br/>developing a dog allergy, we are looking for a loving home for our two<br/>amazing dogs. They have been together their entire lives, and we would love<br/>to find someone willing to keep them together if at all possible.<br/>Daxter is a 5-year-old German Shepherd mix with an energetic, fun-loving<br/>personality. He loves to run, play, and spend time outdoors, but he is just as<br/>happy soaking up pets and cuddles from his family. He has an easy-going<br/>temperament and is wonderful with children—even letting our kids sit on him<br/>while he is relaxing. Daxter gets along great with other dogs and enjoys going<br/>on walks. He can pull a little when he gets excited, but he responds well to<br/>corrections. His favorite things are chewing on sticks and toys (although most<br/>toys don't stand a chance!).<br/><br/>Koda is also a 5-year-old German Shepherd mix, but she has a much calmer,<br/>mellow personality. She is incredibly sweet, great with kids and other dogs,<br/>and knows when shes had enough attention—shell simply walk away and<br/>find a quiet place to relax. She loves chew sticks and will happily steal<br/>Daxters if she gets the chance! Koda is excellent on walks and enjoys<br/>spending time outside.<br/><br/>Both dogs know basic commands such as sit and lay down. They were<br/>found together at around 8 weeks old, and we rescued them when they were<br/>about 16 weeks old. Since then, they have been inseparable. They spend their<br/>days running, playing, chasing each other, and cuddling up together to sleep.<br/>They are truly best friends.<br/><br/>They are not crated at night in our home, but they are comfortable in crates<br/>when boarded. Both love being outside and would do best with a yard where<br/>they can run and play together.<br/><br/>Our biggest wish is to find a family who will love them as much as we do and<br/>keep them together.
