Koda's Story

Meet adoptable Koda!

At around 3-5 years old, Koda is a one of a kind mix of German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, Husky, and Great Pyrenees. That may sound like a lot of dog, and he certainly is a big guy, but underneath that impressive mix is an incredibly gentle, loyal, sensitive, and loving soul.

Koda seems to have collected some of the very best qualities from every breed in his family tree.

From his German Shepherd side, Koda is intelligent, inquisitive, eager to please, and highly trainable. He already knows how to sit, stay, give both paws, and lay down!

From his Golden Retriever side comes his love language: PROXIMITY. Koda does not need constant attention or to be the center of the room. He is perfectly content sitting beside you on the couch, relaxing at your feet, or laying at the foot of your bed.

From his Husky side comes his love of adventure! Koda enjoys going for walks, sniffing around the neighborhood, and exploring everything the world has to offer. He has a little bit of the Husky vocal personality, too.

From his Great Pyrenees side comes his patience and gentle nature. Koda enjoys taking in his surroundings and can often be found perched on an ottoman, quietly watching the world go by.

Koda is not a couch potato. He is a high-energy guardian/working dog mix who needs a family willing to give him plenty of physical exercise, mental stimulation, and enrichment. If you take Koda on a walk, keep an eye out for deer and rabbits! πŸ‘€His instincts definitely kick in when he spots something interesting.

Koda may be a big dog with a big personality, but his heart is even bigger. πŸ’™

If you have room in your life for a gentle giant who wants to walk beside you, learn with you, relax beside you, and become your loyal companion, Koda is waiting to meet you. 🐾

πŸ“ 730 Church Street, New Kensington, PA
πŸ“ Adoption Application: https://form.jotform.com/213275062626049
πŸ“§ adoptions@animalprotectors.net
πŸ“ž (724) 339-7388
#AdoptKoda #adoptdontshop #newkensington #animalprotectors #pittsburgh #AdoptableDogs
