Koda's Story
Meet Koda

Koda ended up at a local animal control after her family was evicted from their apartment. One moment she had a home, and the next she was in a kennel — and it's immediately clear that this is not where she belongs.

Koda is estimated to be 5–7 years old, and she is one of those dogs who just feels easy to be around. She's well behaved, calm, and attentive. She has great manners, knows several tricks, and carries herself like a dog who is used to being part of a home. She has just the right amount of energy — happy to engage, but content to settle.

And then there are her ears... and that sweet little face. She makes you smile without even trying.

Koda does well with other dogs. We haven't seen her with cats yet, and we believe she would do well with kids given her gentle, balanced nature.

This is a dog who deserves a couch, a routine, and a person — not a kennel run. We would love to get Koda into a foster home or a forever home as soon as possible, so she can get back to the life she so clearly knows how to live.

If you've been thinking about fostering or adopting, Koda might be the one who makes it feel right.

Foster: www.roversdoover.com/foster
Adopt: www.roversdoover.com/adopt

Please Note: This dog is currently still under the care of another agency. Rover's Do Over is a foster-based rescue, and until we are able to officially pull Koda from animal control and place her into a foster home, the information we have is limited. Once Koda enters our care, we will be able to provide more detailed updates regarding her personality, behavior, and needs.
