Meet Koda!<br/><br/>Koda is a playful four-year old approximately 60 lb merle colored Aussie with a fluffy tail whose essence is a radiant bundle of sunshine. Koda came into rescue through an owner surrender and this cheerful boy has been trained into growing into the kind of companion who turns ordinary afternoons into tail wagging celebrations.<br/><br/>Koda is the sort of dog who believes every tennis ball holds magical potential. Toss one across the yard and watch him spring into action with joyful determination, ears flopping and eyes sparkling. He is energetic, active, and wonderfully social, greeting new friends with a happy wiggle and an enthusiastic tail thump. With positive reinforcement and perhaps a few fun training classes, Koda will continue polishing his already impressive "sit", "stay", and "shake" skills. He is also noted to be fairly polite on the leash; not pulling constantly and will walk in the "heel" position.<br/><br/>This handsome Aussie thrives on companionship and adventure. Long walks along a shady trail, splashy afternoons at the lake or a puddle, or cozy evenings curled beside his favorite humans all make his heart happy. He has a charming quirk of carrying his favorite squeaky toy everywhere, as if it is a prized treasure he cannot possibly leave behind. With some insisting like “leave it” or “drop it” he will play fetch. When he is especially excited, he does a little tail wag that shakes his whole body before sitting politely, as though he is auditioning for a treat.<br/><br/>Koda needs a caring environment where his playful spirit can shine and where he can share his loyal, affectionate heart. He is ready to find a new loving home filled with laughter, activity, and plenty of belly rubs. He also will go to the door to let you know he needs to go outside- fully potty trained. And kennel crate trained for bedtime. All dogs have an adoption fee of $400 plus MN sales tax. We pride ourselves on matches that are awesome for both the dog and your family.
