Koda's Story

Meet Koda!

Forget everything you think you know about Huskies. Koda did not get the memo about being a full-time chaos coordinator.

This 50 lb, 4-5 year old Husky is proof that Huskies can come with an easy mode setting! Koda is calm, well-mannered, and incredibly sweet. Instead of plotting backyard escape missions or demanding a sled team, this girl would much rather spend her days soaking up attention, going for walks, and enjoying the finer things in life... like a refreshing splash pad session at the shelter.

Koda has a heart as big as her fluffy personality and loves everyone she meets. Shes the kind of dog who makes you think, Where have you been all my life? Shes happy to be your walking buddy, your adventure partner, or your professional couch companion.

Koda may be a Husky, but shes definitely more chill queen than wild child.

She seems like she could do well with other dogs, but a meet and greet is required to make sure everyone becomes fast friends. Her feelings about cats are still under review, but with slow and proper introductions, we think she may be just fine.

If youre looking for a sweet, friendly, well-behaved Husky who skipped the drama and went straight to being amazing, Koda is ready to steal your heart!
