Koda 26C-51B's Story
On Koda’s first visit to the bark park, he was escorted by the photographer who was accompanied by a female volunteer. They all walked an introductory exploration as Koda became more comfortable with the park amenities. Unexpectedly, but wonderfully, Koda walked over to the volunteer and performed a sit directly in front of her with a smile on his face and as she bent down to give him a pet, Koda reached out and offered his paw for a welcoming paw shake. He repeated the shake a number of times as together, they enjoyed a perfect spring day surrounded by a field of purple Henbit flowers. Seven-year-old Koda is a shy but friendly, mellow natured canine with a Husky personality who wears his fleecy coat with pride.
