Koala's Story

Meet Koala, a laid-back young lady with a sweet disposition and just the right amount of playful energy!

Although Koala is over a year old, she still has some puppy-like tendencies and enjoys having time each day to play, exercise, and burn off her energy. Once she's had her fun, she's usually content to relax near her people. She can also be wonderfully cuddly when she knows you're interested in a snuggle session!

Koala appears to be house-trained and has not had any accidents in her foster home. She has started working on basic skills such as walking politely on leash and coming when called, and her new family will need to continue reinforcing her training. She may be hesitant to enter her crate on her own, but she allows her foster family to help her inside without much fuss.

New situations can make Koala a little timid at first, but she typically adjusts after one or two positive experiences. She has done well around other dogs, although she currently seems much more interested in spending time with her humans. She has not yet been around children, so her comfort level with them is unknown.

Koala is looking for a patient, loving family who will give her time to settle in, continue building her confidence, and help her polish her manners. In return, she'll bring a wonderful mix of companionship, cuddles, and fun to her forever home!
