KOAH's Story

Meet Koah! This handsome boy was surrendered to the shelter on 5/26 because his former owner said he wasnt trained. However, the volunteers have already discovered that Koah knows several commands, including sit and stay, and he takes treats very gently. Maybe Koah just needs some work on his house-training skills. His former family also shared that he does well with children, cats, and other dogs. The volunteers describe Koah as a very sweet dog who is ready for a fresh start with a loving family. Hes hoping to find a forever home where hell be cherished, kept safe indoors, and treated like the beloved family member he deserves to be. If you're looking for a more mature dog who is past the crazy puppy years, please come meet Koah!

Koah is approximately 7 years old, and weighs 31 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, has been neutered, and did test negative for heartworms. He will be microchipped upon adoption. Koah is waiting patiently in kennel 881; his ID # is 19304

Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained.
