Koa Floof's Story
Koa Floof is a young, Pomeranian mix (possibly with Husky or MillelSpitz) weighing about 20 pounds. At just around a year old, he has all the energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm of a puppy, combined with striking looks and a fluffy coat that is growing back beautifully after being shaved due to heavy matting. He is healthy, bright, and ready to learn.

Koa is very people-oriented and forms strong bonds with his humans. He is affectionate, enjoys staying close, and is happiest when he has someone to follow and engage with. Due to limited early exposure, he may bark at people approaching him, but the moment strangers come close, he is wagging his tail and ready to make friends. He is also weary of passing cars, but he is highly intelligent and eager to please. He learns quickly and is already doing very well on a leash. Training with Koa is engaging and rewarding. He is responsive, food-motivated, and thrives with guidance.

Koa is crate trained and keeps his crate clean. He is also house trained and understands the routine. Continued structure and regular potty breaks will help him with his continued success.

Koa previously lived with another dog, Kai (possibly littermate). We don't know how these two got along together, but we are glad they are separated now: Since arriving at his foster home, Koa has done well with his foster furry siblings. They do interact playfully without any issues. He will bark at other dogs when locked in his cage. However, when the door to the crate is left open, problem solved. Bottom line, Koa
should be fine with another dog provided his adopter is experienced and can give it some time to settle down.

Koa Floof’s ideal home would be with an active, dog-savvy adopter who enjoys training and wants a young dog with strong potential. With structure, consistency, and continued positive reinforcement, he is well on his way to becoming an excellent companion for outdoor activities and everyday life. He is a fun, affectionate, and highly trainable dog who will reward his adopter with loyalty, personality, and plenty of attention from admirers wherever he goes.

* More pictures of Koa can be found on Flickr- please copy and paste the following link into your browser:
https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjCT6Ys

An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms

Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.

Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org

Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions.
