Knox's Story

Hi friend, hello! It’s me, Knox 🖤 Yes, that Knox, the 80-pound Rottweiler who thinks personal space is a myth and believes the couch is better when shared—preferably with you 🛋️ I’m 2 years old, built like a tank, and powered almost entirely by snacks and love ❤️ My favorite hobby is being near my people. Not across the room, not in another room—I mean right there at your feet 👣 leaning on your leg, gently draped across your lap even though we both know I am absolutely not the size of a Maltese 🤭

If you’re looking for a loyal shadow who follows you like you’re the most interesting thing that’s ever existed, congratulations, you found me 🙃 I’m a friendly guy. I love meeting new humans and I’m pretty sure every person I meet could be my new best friend if they just give me a chance and maybe a treat 🦴 Speaking of treats, I am very food motivated 😋 Tell me you want me to learn something new and then casually reveal a snack 🍟 and I’m already trying. I might have a mild case of undiagnosed ADHD—like when I’m walking nicely on a leash and see something exciting, my brain briefly goes, “OH WOW WHAT IS THAT.” But don’t worry, I’m working on staying focused because I know growth is important 😉

I currently don’t live with other dogs but when I was at the shelter I did fine on my temp test! I’ve seen other dogs on walks and I’m more of a curious observer than a drama starter ☺️ So with slow introductions, like you should do anyway, we should be golden 🌟 At home I’m pretty polished. When I need to go outside, I don’t quietly suffer—I announce it 🗣️ politely, dramatically, with a signature “aawoooo.” It works every time 😉 I don’t pee in the house, which is totally unfair considering you humans don’t have to go outside 🙄 The same sound also applies to meal reminders—I can’t miss one of those! 😋

I’d love a home with someone who enjoys walks and has a safely enclosed space where I can stretch my legs when you’re being lazy and don’t want to walk me 🤭 I’ve got a chill personality with a medium-to-active vibe. I like to do things but I also take my naps very seriously 💤 Balance is key 🔑

So if you’re searching for a big, cuddly, affectionate goofball who will love you like it’s his full-time job—hi again, it’s still me, Knox—I think we’re about to be best friends 💙
