Knight's Story

Meet Knight, the epitome of charm and grace! This affectionate and athletic gentleman is ready to sweep you off your feet. Knight is a four and a half year old purebred Husky. This guy is sweet as can be and is absolutely gorgeous! If you want a dog that's sure to turn heads, look no further than this fella!
Knight has a curious spirit and is always eager to explore the world around him. Note of caution on that though. Even though it's a wonderful quality, it means he can at times try to dart out the door. This is VERY typical Husky behavior, but it needs to be prevented, as Huskies will roam far and wide, and he could easily get injured or worse while on a spontaneous journey into the big outdoors. He is quite used to not having a fenced yard to run and play in, though ideally his next home would have one so that he could have ample space to burn some of that excess energy.
As a Husky, Knight does require a lot of attention and dedication. Do your research!!! These can be high maintenance dogs between their coats that require upkeep, their desire for mental stimulation, and their absolutely intense need for exercise and physical expenditure. Do not apply for Knight unless you are an active person in general who can keep up with a dog like this, and, secondly, are dedicated enough to fully commit to the work load that owning a Husky naturally entails.
Knight has been around other dogs and kids. He was raised with another dog and has been with other additional doggos during playtime, and he did well in all scenarios! Regardless, we can always do a meet and greet out here to make sure he and your resident pup get along prior to bringing him home. As for cats, Knight has never been around them really, and per our observations, he seems a little too interested in them for our comfort. We strongly suggest a no-cat home for this guy, out of caution. In our opinion, the observed behaviors don't really bode well for the wellbeing of any kitties in his presence. As for children, Knight loves, loves, loves them. He lived with a baby in his former home and was reported to be oh so gentle with her. He would play with her and let her toss toys around for him, but he was always hyperaware of her small size and interacted with her as delicately as a dog ever could.
Knight's friendly demeanor and playful antics make him a joy to be around, while his independent streak ensures he's content whether you're bustling with activity or enjoying a quiet moment -just as long as that moment is with him of course! Naturally that's a bit of an exaggeration, as Knight honestly is good at entertaining himself, but that said, he also truly does need a lot of attention. It's the entire reason he was surrendered to us in the first place, and we would hate for him to fall into the same situation all over again. He's such an amazing dog and deserves the utmost!
Loyal to the core, Knight will stand by your side through every adventure. His smarts make training a breeze (indeed, he already knows many tricks/commands and is potty trained), and his fun-loving nature ensures there's never a dull moment. Knight is the perfect blend of tender, yet playful and spirited. This precious pooch is ready to bring love and laughter into your home. Could he be the missing piece to your puzzle? Come meet Knight today and find out!
