Don’t let her small size fool you… this girl lives life in ALL CAPS. She came here all the way from Texas with two of her siblings and was born on 8/17/2025. She currently weighs 14lbs, but is growing fast!<br/><br/>Kiwi is adventurous, energetic, and absolutely convinced the world is her stage — and honestly, she’s not wrong. She loves people (especially kids!) and is certain that everyone she meets showed up just to admire her charm. And she will happily prove them right.<br/><br/>This clever girl is smart with awesome recall, can already sit like a pro, and is working hard on her potty training. She’s playful, bright, and eager to learn — basically the whole puppy package. She LOVES to fetch and will proudly show off her tiny-athlete skills any chance she gets.<br/><br/>Kiwi has gotten along wonderfully with all the dogs she’s met, though she does like to be the confident one in the group. She hasn’t met cats or small animals yet, but with her smarts and eagerness to please, she has tons of potential.<br/><br/>Kiwi is ready for a family who’s up for adventure, snuggles, laughs, and a whole lot of “Look at me!” moments. If you’re searching for a spirited little sidekick with a heart full of love and a personality ten times her size, Kiwi is your girl.<br/><br/>Our standard adoption fee is $375 if paid by cash or check, or $385 if paid by credit card (which includes a $10 processing fee). This fee covers spay/neuter surgery when age appropriate at one of our participating veterinarians, age-appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative, and microchipping. <br/><br/>In order to be considered for adoption, we require a fully completed application, a phone interview, and a meet-and-greet with your entire family. Please note that submitting an application does not commit you to adopting and does not guarantee approval—it simply allows us to begin the review process. <br/><br/>If you are interested in adopting or would like additional information, please email us at adopt@safehavendogsIL.org to request an application. <br/><br/>Keep in mind that the breed and size listed in each dog's biography are our best educated guesses and are not guaranteed. <br/><br/>Safe Haven Dog Rescue reserves the right to refuse the adoption of any dog or puppy to any applicant for any reason.
