Kita's Story

Meet Kita, our four-year-old Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix. She is a sweet girl who can be a little bit shy at first, but she loves attention and has lots of energy when she's outside. She loves to run as fast as her little legs will carry her, and then jump right into your arms. For the most part, she does well with other dogs her size, but has shown signs of resource guarding when it comes to other dogs around her toys, and food aggression towards dogs near food, such as meals and treats. While she can still most definitely be adopted into a home that currently has other animals, her adopter needs to be aware of her resource guarding so that they can watch out for it and make sure it doesn't cause any issues between Kita and any other dogs.
